God's concern for your heart

God cares about right actions and right motives—clean hands and a pure heart (see Psalm 24:3–4). But here’s the good news: A heart surrendered to God produces godly behaviors that are directed by God’s heart. If the attitude of your heart is truly to please God, surrendering ownership of yourself and your sexuality to his plan for your life, God’s desires will become your desires (Psalm 37:4). Your hearts will become synchronized.
